Volkswagen will bring its new SUV in the 4-meter segment in India, which will be named Volkswagen Tera. It will be built on the MQB A0 platform, on which famous hatchbacks like Volkswagen Polo were built.
Recently Skoda company launched its new Kylaq SUV, it will be based on that. After launch, it will be the most affordable SUV of Volkswagen in India.
Expected Price and Launch Timeline
- Its price in India can start from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom)
- It will be first introduced in Brazil in March 2025
- Get 1.0-litre TSI engine, produces 115 PS power and 178 Nm torque
- Get the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox
- It is expected to be launched in India at the end of 2025
Its price in India can start from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be first introduced in Brazil in March 2025. It will be given a proven 1.0-litre TSI engine, which produces 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque.
With this engine, the customer will get the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. It is expected to be launched in India at the end of 2025.
