BYD Sealion 7: BYD is ready to launch its electric SUV in India. The company has revealed its key launch date. It was showcased at the recently held 2025 Auto Expo.

It is going to be officially launched in India on 17 February 2025. In India, it will compete with the Kia EV6 electric car. It will have premium rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and performance all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants.
The company has already started taking its booking. You can book this electric car by paying a booking token amount of ₹70,000. Its price in India is expected to be between Rs 50 to 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Power, Torque, Battery & Range
- Premium variant will get 313 hp and 380 Nm of maximum torque
- Battery pack of 82.56 kWh will be available in premium variant
- Will give a claimed range of 567 km after a single charge
- Performance variant gets massive 530 hp and torque of 690 Nm
- With 82.56 kWh battery, a claimed range of 542 km will be available
The premium variant will get 313 hp and 380 Nm of maximum torque. Along with this, a battery pack of 82.56 kWh will be available, which will give a claimed range of 567 km after a single charge.
The other performance variant will get a massive power of 530 hp and a huge torque of 690 Nm. With 82.56 kWh battery, a claimed range of 542 km will be available.
